Wet Garbage Management and Composting
Composting is the decomposition of plant remains and other once-living materials to make an earthy, dark, crumbly substance. Composting is the way to recycle kitchen wastes, composting is a critical step in reducing the volume of garbage needlessly sent to landfills for disposal.
Different Techniques like Solar Composting bin, or rotating bins or mechanical Organic Waste Converters or simple farm based techniques like NADEP and aerobic trench or heap composting are used as per the site situations
Mixing yard and household organic waste in a pit or tank and providing conditions that encourage decomposition is a simplest way of composing the wet garbage. We help in recycling it to produce a rich organic fertilizer and valuable soil amendment.
The compost consists of a mixture of soil, manure and other organic material which are evenly distributed in it. The ingredients which usually enter into compost are loam, leaf mould, manure, sand, charcoal, brick pieces, organic waste, etc.

Wet garbage ( which includes vegetable waste, food waste ( veg & non-veg) collected from a housing complex in Badlapur ,Dist Thane, Maharashtra is spread on agricultural land 4 to 5 km. away from complex.
It turns into a very healthy manure. The land fertility has improved to a great amount.
Seasonal vegetables are grown on this land.
These vegetables are organic healthy vegetables and have good market.
